My husband and I all our married life have had Labradors and, yes we have had a few other breeds but always came back to the Lab. Because we are a small kennel I will only have one or two liters at a time allowing me to give the puppies all the care and attention they need, this also helps with the socialization of each new pup so that when it's time for them to go to their new homes they will adjust quite well.
Steve and I have lived in our present home for over 10 years, we live on 2 1/2 acres in Libertyville, IL. We have a summer home up in Northern Wisconsin, which we travel to bringing 4 or 5 dogs with us at one time and, rotating the others on the next trip, the group just love being in the water which is another reason why we love the Labrador summer time up at our cabin is play time and we certainly do a lot of that.
We have 4 grown children and a young Grandson who from day one has been practically raised by the labs. In today's hectic fast paced world it is nice to come home from a hard day's work and be greeted by a cold nose with a red ball in it's mouth waiting for you to go a few rounds in the backyard and then curl up next to you and watch a little TV.
I have a very selective bred line, which you will be able to view under each and every dog's pedigree. I stride to maintain and improve the positive traits of the Lab, which I will continue to work at. All my dogs are OFA certified Eyes are ACVO CERF. Up to date on all vaccinations, they are given monthly heart worming medication.
I would like to thank my beloved Dakota for all the years we had together and for opening up my eyes to where my true happiness lies breeding English Labs.
